You

To the wild ones

To the strong ones

To the beautiful ones

To the gentle ones

To the kind ones

To the fierce ones

To YOU, who love this life so much it makes you cry just for living in it.

To YOU, who make this world a better place every day you wake up in it.

To YOU, who make someone’s heart smile.

To you.

I love the quote “To the world, you may be one person… but to one person, you may be the world.” It’s credited to a hundred different people, but whoever said it first—it’s just exactly right.

Trust me, there is a person out there who you are the world to. You are the world—the sun, the moon, the earth, and the entire galaxy.  Yes, you are that special. Yes, you are that important. Yes, you matter that much.

Please don’t forget that.

Don’t forget that …

You are remarkable

You are breathtaking

You are unforgettable

In these uncertain and muddy times, it can be much easier to forget how spectacular you truly are.  It can be much easier to say Holy Crap Do I Suck At Life Right Now.

And look, you might suck at life right now; yes, you might. I’m not here to debate about that.  I’m just here to remind you that you are spectacular too.

You are spectacular. You are like a taco on a Tuesday. You are the first cup of coffee in the morning. You are the best song that comes on the car radio when you have the windows down.

If life is trying to convince you otherwise, PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE A FREAKING TACO.

And I, for one, am so glad the universe conspired to bring you into it.

So, go be a taco this week.

(And if you happen to notice someone whose light seems to have dimmed, someone who has lost sight of their taco status? Maybe you can remind them, too.)
