The Leadership Program’s HERstory is a preventative intervention targeted to middle school and high school girls. HERstory is designed to engage pre-teens and teenagers in activities that develop their identity and relationships in order to foster improvements in their health, behavior, and academic performance.
HERstory promotes healthy development for girls in two ways: by helping girls build close relationships to their peers, to the program facilitator, and to their schools, and by helping girls develop the social and emotional skills they need to succeed in school and in life.
